denial_of_guilt
Hi! I have succesfully installed Jas 10.4.7 on my machine : Dell Dimensione 9150 with pentium d 940 . This processor support SSE3, and i have installed the right patches for SSE3. But if i look in system profiler i get this: Machine Name: jMac Machine Model: ADP2,1 CPU Type: Intel® Pentium® D CPU Number Of CPUs: 2 CPU Speed: 4 GHz L2 Cache (per CPU): 2 MB CPU Features: FPU VME DE PSE TSC MSR PAE MCE CX8 APIC SEP MTRR PGE MCA CMOV PAT PSE36 CLFSH DS ACPI MMX FXSR SSE SSE2 SS HTT TM EST Memory: 2 GB Bus Speed: 3.2 GHz Boot ROM Version: A04 (Dell Inc.) Serial Number: 442V92J There's no SSE3 in Cpu Features. Anyone know why? bgrau
You might have accidentally selected both sse2 and sse3. Then only sse2 shows up. It happened to me... trav1085
Oh, you mean if you have SSE3 you don't have to select SSE2? I selected both Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/29751-sse3-not-showing-in-system-profiler/#findComment-205375 Share on other sites
Overdriven
Hmm, on my system it never showed SSE3 except on 10.4.1.... It doesn't matter, I installed it all right and Rosetta works fine. Don't worry about it unless problems arise.
