Simonej Posted April 10, 2014 Share Posted April 10, 2014 Hi, I just bought a Sapphire Radeon HD 7950 (http://www.sapphiretech.com/presentation/product/?cid=1&gid=3&sgid=1157&pid=1878&psn=&lid=1&leg=0), the same model that is sold as compatible for mac. I use clover with monitor 27 2650x1440. I have several problems; -DP works only 1900x1200 -DVI works full res if plug/unplug cable when computer is turned on -System Informations reveals HD 7xxx instead of HD 7950 I have tried different framebuffer but the result, best should be Aji and Hamachi. I read that 10.9.3 should fix the problem, I installed kext from 10.9.3 but nothing has changed. Has anyone solved the problem? Someone use a 7950 without problems? Thank you. Slice Posted April 21, 2014 Share Posted April 21, 2014 I think there is a common connectors problem. Even though "the same" card is sold for Mac their connectors are different.
