DrewDigity Posted October 8, 2006 Share Posted October 8, 2006 I just got a copy of final cut pro and to my surprise I get an error message when launching saying that I am missing Quartz Extreme Support. I have looked into enabling quartz extreme and have tried every tutorial and fix I could find with no success. I am currently running an Nvidia GeForce 5200, and am wondering if my video card isnt compatible with quartz extreme. Does anyone know if I am able to buy a different video card or do anything to enable this feature so I can finally use Final Cut Pro? fsck3r Posted October 9, 2006 Share Posted October 9, 2006 The Geforce cards are compitable with QE or CI "yet". You will need a Raedon (Models Vary) or get a motherboard with Intel GMA 900 or as I have the GMA950 which is supported out of the box!
