tobitronics
Hi guys, I'm looking for an up-to-date powerful haswell hackintoshable laptop. Are there any choices that will (sort of) instantly work (just like gigabyte motherboards on desktop hackintoshes)? Or will I have to make compromises either way? Thanks in advance! dlambert
Hey I'm using one right now! It's the system76 Kudo Professional (it's a clevo) with: Intel i7 4700MQ 16GB DDR3 (self upgrade) Samsung 840 EVO SSD (Self Upgrade) Intel HD 4600 GPU Azurewave AW-CE123H (the included wifi card isn't supported in OS X) Link: https://www.system76.com/laptops/model/kudp1 This is the only configuration I can vouch for, but good luck with another if you choose to buy this laptop and deviate! And I'm happy to say it's about 90-95% working. Sound is the only issue remaining (Getting headphones to work). I'd be more than happy to post my guide as well as all the required kexts/installs. Please feel free to ask me any questions.
