maxell505
So I have created a partition on my hard drive so I can install Niresh Mavericks 10.9 but when I go to do that it gives me an error. I go to install mac osx in that drive by going to disk utility once it asks me where to install it and I click on my drive and than i go to the erase tab and it gives me an error. I think this is probably because of how my drive was formatted. I am on Windows 8 right now and my ultimate goal is to dual boot this machine. Also if anyone can answer this, Do I have to have a bootloader. I do not care which one(Windows 8 or Mavericks) is my main system. Any one is fine. I just want the option to pick between one each time I start up my computer. EDIT: I attached my disk management screen.
