itzvizionzx
I had a hp laptop with a ralink network adapter, I heard this doesn't work so I replaced it with a network adapter from an old laptop that had mountain lion and working wifi. It says broadcom bcm94313hm5 how do I get this to work on mavericks. It was working on my dell laptop running 10.8. Any help appreciated thank you. spakk
I am not familiar with your wifi driver. But what you can do the following. Install the tool systeminfo.app, run the tool. The tool gives you very important information to your built-in hardware. Find the line with the wifi, writing the two values of the device-id and vendor-id. Then go to s / l / e and copy the BCM943xxx.kext (I do not like the means exactly) on your desktop. Then open the driver with the right mouse button / contents/info.plist open the info.plist with the editor and enter your vend-id and device-id, There are many examples online how to customize a wifi driver. Gold luck! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/296332-help-wifi-kext/#findComment-1997103 Share on other sites
