For whatever reason I'm having trouble editing the wiki, but I wanted to confirm that it works fine on dual CPU setups, since I haven't seen anyone else do it yet.

Dual Opteron 848s

MSI K8T Master2-FAR

1 gig of reg/egg pc2100 (4x256)

Geforce4 ti4600 (works, but not accelerated)

Onboard sound works, onboard NIC doesn't

It's pretty quick, unfortunately it's only SSE2.

I can confirm this. I have the same mobo (msi k8t master2 far) with dual opteron 244s and its working except for NIC as mentioned and the sound I get only one channel.

I have 2x 512MB reg/ecc memory

(in system profiler, shows up in totals, but in mem section shows as 2x256 by bank)

GeForce 5900 (vesa 3, not accel)

But how many CPU's did OSX detect ?

I have it running on an MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum with an X2 4200. The interesting part is OSX reports only a single core but it says Hyperthreading is enable (which it obviously has wrong). Opening the activity monitor does indeed show the CPU load for 2 processors.

Yeah, that's how mine shows it.
