Pavalev
So I have installed Mac OS X 10.9 Mavericks, WOW. For everyone with my hardware, you have to replace mech_kernel in the usb installer/installed system, as told by carbo178. Once you do that you will have no more problems! Now I have to set up a dual boot with windows but I don't know how to do it, I tried installing chameleon, chimera, edit the MBR with EasyBCD. Can you tell me some advice? carbo178
See this, you must apply a patch for mach_kernel http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/293503-haswell-early-reboot-mavericks-locked-msrs-and-hp-envy-15-j063cl-i7-4700mq/ Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/295989-mavericks-installation-success-but/#findComment-1993126 Share on other sites
Pavalev
I have installed Mac OS X with success, but now I have a problem with the bootloader. If I install chameleon or chimera, they seems to not work! When start the computer, it says boot0:error (I have tried the boot1h thingy but didn't work). The only way I can access to both windows or mac is with the USB installer. I think that the bootloader is not installed in the entire HDD. Can someone help me?
