Sleep via manual and Energy Saver. 

 

What does not work: 

Realtek RJ45 

WiFi card

 

Bios Version 1101

Disable Floppy and Serial port. 

Enable SATA ACHI mode, including the external JMicron controller. 

If you have oc'ed your cpu, make sure you have enabled Intel Speedstep and Execute Disable Bit. 

The DSDT.aml has been heavily patched. I have included the dsdt.dsl file with all my notes. Search for "// FIX"

 

Audio

If you have terrible audio while playing MKV video files, install Perian and use Quicktime 7.

 

As a side note, I prefer manually making my usb key Installer and I also boot off the EFI partition. 

The EFI method above hides the EFI partition once your done. The option below is perfect if you want to debug.

You can format the EFI partition and use it as a regular partition. In 10.7 you would enable DiskUtility debug Menu

​and list hidden partition then format but Maverick does not allow you to format the EFI partition, it spits out a "not enough space" error.

Use 10.7 to format the partition. Then make that partition active. I'll have to find a work around for 10.9 Disk Utility.

Hello, friend. 

 

Performed the installation of the Mavericks through MyHack and I can boot normally through -v -f commands. 

 

My motherboard is the Asus P5K Premium, would like to know how to use all the files you provided. 

Where to insert? May indicate some link?
