Hi guys,

need some help about installing mavericks on my pc.

I have followed various tut's on the internet on installing os x ono a hackintosh, after i have made the usb with ##### i then plug it into my pc and boot

No hard drives connected apart from the one i want to install it on

my bios are setup properly

after i boot to ##### loader i press the usb with the install on.

it loads to a black screen and then for a split second it shows the grey screen and apple logo.

after this it just reboots.

i have tried many commands -s, -x, etc and still nothing happens.

any help as there are topics on other fourms but there is no proper help/solution there.

PC Specs

i7 4770k

msi z87-g55

8gb 1333 corsair ram

amd 6950/6970 unlocked. (i have also tried onboard graphics and still i get the same result)

it has been wrecking my head for the past week

I have also used chameleon and get the same result there

first we do not supported tony tools On insaneleymac !

second, use to create your USB Install-stick or your external Install HDD with myHack or do with DISK Utility.

It is important that you make the settings in the BIOS correctly. ⇒ AHCI Enabled ! Make sure this is set correctly, the boot sequence. put your USB stick or your external HDD to the first place in the BIOS. boot with this flag:

-v -f PCIRootUID=0 or 1 npci=0x3000. Should the system stops by a kernel panic , then make a photo and upload it here. then we look further.

hi thanks for the response

i have checked that the bios is AHCI enabled, i then changed the usb to first boot priority, i then rebooted to chameleon and tried both boot commands, it restarts back to chameleon.

i have been following a different guide now. this is where it got me to the same place.

After you boot with the flag which I have described above, where hangs the system? Create a photo so we can find out how we can help you

What can you tell me? Boot your system or stops it somewhere?

To help you I need the picture of the kernel panic! !

These are the images of what happens. They should be in order.
When i use these commands the apple screen does not show at all

EDIT: the images are not in order you can probably work out in which order they are?

here your problem is discussed, but you'd better install with myhack.

Please create with myhack your USB-INSTALL-STICK and then install with myhack chameleon bootloader. In addition, remove with myhack tool the problems drivers, then start your system from your USB stick.

Download the latest Version

Ok so i made a new usb with myhack also installing chameleon with it and reset my bios and changed all the settings that i needed from scratch.

I then pluged it in the pc booted and selected the usb i get the same result with normal booting also using -v -x -f etc the same thing happens

do i need to include things like fakesmc?

-Chris

Ok so i have tried 2 Fakesmc, the original and a downloaded on and still the same and i still get the same problem. I am not sure what the other options there are apart from remake the usb a few times as i read in the link you gave me in the post above.

i found a error saying "No kernel Cache File '/System/Library/Caches/com.apple.kext.caches/Startup/Kernelcache' Found" when i look in this directory i get to com.apple.kext.caches and from then on the file is empty with no hidden files in it. could this be a problem as i have read on the internet that people have had to rebuild it with kext wizard?
