spakk
first we do not supported tony tools On insaneleymac ! second, use to create your USB Install-stick or your external Install HDD with myHack or do with DISK Utility. It is important that you make the settings in the BIOS correctly. ⇒ AHCI Enabled ! Make sure this is set correctly, the boot sequence. put your USB stick or your external HDD to the first place in the BIOS. boot with this flag: -v -f PCIRootUID=0 or 1 npci=0x3000. Should the system stops by a kernel panic , then make a photo and upload it here. then we look further. chris123d
hi thanks for the response i have checked that the bios is AHCI enabled, i then changed the usb to first boot priority, i then rebooted to chameleon and tried both boot commands, it restarts back to chameleon. i have been following a different guide now. this is where it got me to the same place. http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/280756-guide-the-all-in-one-guide-to-vanilla-os-x-including-chameleon-dsdt-for-beginners-updated-for-mavericks/ -Chris Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/295557-os-x-mavericks-boot-problem/#findComment-1988374 Share on other sites
spakk
After you boot with the flag which I have described above, where hangs the system? Create a photo so we can find out how we can help you What can you tell me? Boot your system or stops it somewhere? To help you I need the picture of the kernel panic! ! chris123d
These are the images of what happens. They should be in order. When i use these commands the apple screen does not show at all EDIT: the images are not in order you can probably work out in which order they are? spakk
here your problem is discussed, but you'd better install with myhack. http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/282666-108-installer-starting-darwin-x86-64/ Please create with myhack your USB-INSTALL-STICK and then install with myhack chameleon bootloader. In addition, remove with myhack tool the problems drivers, then start your system from your USB stick. Download the latest Version http://myhack.sojugarden.com/tag/mavericks/ Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/295557-os-x-mavericks-boot-problem/#findComment-1988400 Share on other sites

chris123d
Ok so i have tried 2 Fakesmc, the original and a downloaded on and still the same and i still get the same problem. I am not sure what the other options there are apart from remake the usb a few times as i read in the link you gave me in the post above. i found a error saying "No kernel Cache File '/System/Library/Caches/com.apple.kext.caches/Startup/Kernelcache' Found" when i look in this directory i get to com.apple.kext.caches and from then on the file is empty with no hidden files in it. could this be a problem as i have read on the internet that people have had to rebuild it with kext wizard? -Chris Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/295557-os-x-mavericks-boot-problem/#findComment-1988595 Share on other sites
