Help! After i attempted to install OSx86, it wouldn't work. So I decided to delete the Mac formatted partition. Then, I see the Windows boot-up screen, but it takes like 20 minutes to boot-up, and when I try to fix this problem with Linux, the liveCD's won't boot up. I think it might be a problem with my MBR, but i don't know. Help! Thanks.

in my case i just boot to windows (was using native macosx bootloader, winxp shows without any ingerentrion during installation) run storage manager or something in administrative tools, then set active partition to partition with winxp. try usuing any other partition manager to set active partition to one with winxp.

to fix mbr, boot from windows xp installation disk and choose not installation but recovery console (i don't exacly remeber title). if you've got the command prompt type:

fixmbr

answer yes if it asks that boot sector is strange.
