  1. Hey, after successfully (somewhat) installing Kalyway 10.5.3 (upgrade from 10.5.2) on my Dell XPS M1530, it seems like the laptop is running excessively hot (compared to Vista). I tried using Fan Control, but it doesn't seem to work for my laptop... Also, for the sound card (Sigmatel 9228), is there a way to get the sound to work without putting the laptop to sleep everytime? Also, I can't shut down properly, and sleep seems more like restarting for my laptop. Help would be much appreciated! Thanks!

  5. help with restoring Windows

Help! After i attempted to install OSx86, it wouldn't work. So I decided to delete the Mac formatted partition. Then, I see the Windows boot-up screen, but it takes like 20 minutes to boot-up, and when I try to fix this problem with Linux, the liveCD's won't boot up. I think it might be a problem with my MBR, but i don't know. Help! Thanks.
