Hello guys I'm having problems in installing Marvericks on my Asus K42JC Laptop. It seems to get stuck after IOBluetooth .... Connected to Transport System. After that, the system halted and a restart is need. I've tried all different type of boot flags, GraphicsEnabler, PCIRoot, Safe Mode, Verbose Mode. But they all get stuck at the IOBluetooth command. I've attached the photo for reference. I use my sister mac to set up the installation USB via [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url]. Hope you guys can help . My Laptop Specs are Intel i5 450M, Intel HD Graphics 1000 & Nvidia Geforce 310M 4GB Ram, 500GB HDD.

It could be your gpu based upon what others are saying about Nvidia mobile graphics. Make sure that your device

ID in /System/Library/Extensions/NVDANV50Hal.kext(view contents revealing info.plist) is the same as your model for your Nvidia 310M.

Your device ID should be: 0X0A75 and your vendor ID should be: 0x10DE

 

For example:

<key>IOPCIMatch</key>
<string>0X0A75</string>
