HackBook Pro
I'm having a lot of trouble getting my sound card to work on 10.9.1. I have an ALC 888s (888_v100001). Following this guide, I was not able to get it working. After some Googling, I found Legacy_ALCxxx, that seemed to fix my problem. Then I decided to update to 10.9.1 and my sound stopped working. I can't seem to get it working again. I'm unsure of which patch(es) I used on my AppleHDA and whether or not I needed a platform.xml file. Can anyone help me out? I can give you more info if you need. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/294739-trouble-with-alc-888s-on-1091/ Share on other sites
HackBook Pro
I got it working. I followed the ALC888 guide from http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/293001-mavericks-realtek-alc-applehda-audio/ (using the alternate 888.zip). I also installed the Legacy_ALCxxx kext (ALC888) from http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?app=core&module=attach§ion=attach&attach_id=87789 Now it works Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/294739-trouble-with-alc-888s-on-1091/#findComment-1983680 Share on other sites
