HDMI out GeForce GT640. Any issue at all ?

Hello there.

My ML 10.8.5 works perfectly with GeForce GT640 on VGA out.

 

I am willing to buy a new HDMI monitor (Samsung). I read somewhere that HDMI sometimes doesn't work with hackintosh. So I am liitle scared of wasting my money.

 

Any suggestion/reccomendation ?

u need proper dsdt edits for hdmi to work.
