Hi guys, here's the deal: I'd like to try to build an hackintosh computer for the first time. Since I'm broke, I'd like my hackintosh to be as cheap as possibile while remaining fully compatibile with OSX: I'm going to put a small SSD in there and then later add a more capable hard drive.

I really can't spend more than 220€ on that (300$), but it has to include everything except for the optical drive, the mechanical hard disk I mentioned earlier and the monitor, which I already have.

Everything has to be fully campatibile and tested: this is my first time in the hackintosh world, so be patient. New components only, I really don't have the time to look for used parts deals right now.

Oh, it does not have to be an original build: a link to an external site with some tested configurations would be fine too :)

I already tried to google things like "poor man hackintosh" or "cheap hackintosh" but the only configurations I've found were really old and outdated or way beyond my budget, so here I am asking for your advice

I think this is enough:

Core i3-4330 HD4600 140$

GIGABYTE GA-H81M-S2PH  65$

G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 4GB DDR3 1600Mhz 39$

Mainboard + PSU + Keyboard + Mouse: 54$

I can't find that motherboard on Amazon.it\.de\.fr. Is there an alternative one at a similar price?

Anyway, thanks a lot :)

I need to be 100% sure that the MB I'm going to purchase will be fully compatibile with MacOSX: I would not have the money nor the time to buy another one or replace the product.

If you tell me that the Gigabyte GA-H81M-S2PH is the only model at that price point that is completely compatibile, then I'm going to use eBay and buy one from there. Since I'm a Prime costumer, ordering from Amazon would have been simply easier for me, but nevermind...

Any Intel CPU at your local stock. But not Atom, not Xeon, not E5.

Any Gigabyte motherboard compatible with the CPU.

If you want to use Intel Graphics then CPU must be i5-i7 (not i3, not Pentium), motherboard must have DVI connector.

That's all!

LAN, sound are usually controllable by native or special kexts.

If you want discrete graphics then most Radeon 6xxx-7xxx and Geforce 6xx-7xx are compatible with OSX as is.

About Radeon 6xyz I may propose that yz must be 70.
