mssmison
I've got 10.9 running happily along on my Asus UX31a with the exception of the VGA output. Initially the display would come on but the system didn't actually detect it. Only the HDMI was detected and was mirrored to the VGA display. After hex editing the AppleIntelFramebufferCapri.kext per the directions here; http://forum.osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/2945-guide-for-enabling-vga-and-hdmi-in-intel-hd4000-gpu/ I've been able to get the display detected, by model number and everything however there isn't any signal actually sent to it. I've tried changing the resolutions etc but no effect, the monitor continues to complain that there is no input. Has anyone been successful in getting the VGA on an hd4000 working properly with Mavericks?
