Crabhunter Posted October 24, 2013 Share Posted October 24, 2013 My pc and laptop were both running Mountain Lion fine and I decided to update them to Mavericks. I built the installer in the usual way, added my Extra folder from my pc and updated the pc no problem. I then replaced the Extra folder with the one from my laptop but when you get to the screen where you choose the installer or the os on the hard drive neither the usb installer or the mountain lion partitions will turn green, only the windows and linux will turn green and boot. I am using the Chameleon r2266 boot loader as it is the only one that will get me that far. Any ideas? Mike Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Crabhunter Posted October 24, 2013 Author Share Posted October 24, 2013 Well I deleted the themes folder from Extra and was then able to select the usb installer, gets stuck at waiting for root device so now I have something to work on.
