Kevin Sherman
alternatively, here is the one from the Darwin CD... the problem is this: when using that kext I uploaded, where exactly do you add the vendor ID info? the guide tells you to find an area that says Nvidia AC97... But there is no heading (or what ever it is called in programing lingo) that has that name in that .kext from the Darwin CD So where do I edit? Bennoo
After grabbing the file from the internet or the VMWare image I copy the permission of the other files and load the file The system responds with "AppleAC97Audio.kext is not Authentic (check access and permissions)" ANy other ideas? macgirl
Some discover that some other kexts copied from DarwinCD makes difference: AudioAC97audio.kext IOAudiofamilie.kext AudioDeviceTreeUpdater.kext VirtualAudioDriver.kext Try them, edit Info.plist if needed.
