It all began nearly a thousand years ago. In the year 2057 C.E., if one were to use the now extinct Global Era system (the year by the current system is, of course, different, but well come to explain the standards of measurements in a little bit), a young, ambitious scientist named Arthur Front made his first technological breakthrough. With his triple-major, not uncommon for those days, of Artificial Intelligence, Bioengineering, and Physics, he is credited with making the first true artificial intelligence interface implant into a human. His second discovery, made some 11 years later eliminated physical friction in all machines where such was present, thus boosting up engine efficiency from around 40% to close to 88% of input.

The above revolutionized all human technology. Just a year after the creation of those implants, one in every 15 humans had one equipped. And the reduced-friction engines developed using that magfield technology made human ships bigger, and go further, faster. However, for reasons known only to the generals of the United Earth Council, the weapons arsenals, including nuclear weapons were not only kept, but further developed, despite the fact that there were no longer any wars between humans themselves, nor did humans have any opposing race. Thus, the two inventions revolutionized military technology above all else.

Basicly Project Aedelfrid is an animated movie a few people and I are working on, if you want to read the entire story, check out the forums. Here are the requirements if you want to join.

-------

Project Aedelfrid is looking to expand its development team in order to broaden opinion and felxibility during the development stage.

The following positions are available:

Object 3D modeling artist (2)

Sprite 3D modeling artist (2)

World 3D modeling artist (1)

Texture modeling artist (2)

If you wish to join the team, send me a PM with this information.

* Your real name (first only) (optional), and your forums nickname.

* Position you wish to apply for (including any alternate preferences).

* Forums communities you regularly visit/contribute to.

* Any graphics/modeling/animation programs you are familiar with and prefer to work with.

* Any developer programs and programming languages you are familiar with.

* A rough estimate of how much time per week you would be able to spend developing this project.

* What (if anything) makes you want to join this development team.

* Please be sure to include an AIM, MSN, or YIM (MSN perferred) contact.

Subjects must be of good moral character, and be able to complete work within reasonable time assignments.

The following programs are required to be installed on your machine (PC, Mac, or Linux):

For 3D modelers:

* Blender, and any sub-programs or extensions it requires. (http://www.blender3d.org/cms/Home.2.0.html)

For Texture modeler:

* A graphic editor of your choice (such as Photoshop, Photodraw, etc.)

If an applicant is unfamiliar with the particular tools described above, we will gladly assist you in initial set-up of your machine to ready it for this project.

It is also recommended that applicants have semi-recent hardware installed on their computers, to include a GeForce4 class (or greater) video card with OpenGL, a 1.5 GHz CPU, and 512 MB of RAM, in order to sustain the hardware requirements needed to perform the jobs in reasonable timeframes.

We are really in need of some people to help out.

Also, I'm sorry if this is the wrong forum to post this.
