theconnactic
Goa'ulds here? Hehehe... I suppose only Mac models that use 4th gen Core-i hardware would be appropriate. AFAIK, only the new MBA falls in this category. All the best!
Lord Anubis
I did get rid of those fake windowz systemlords, btw I'am no longer a goa'uld. Because the ancients where using mac's, and I have a part of theire knowledge and have experience with cloning I will build Hackintoshes. ;-) Anyway, I thought the ID was depending on the devices at or connected to the motherboard. Am I wrong? LA
3.14r2
IMO the ID should be based upon hardware possessed and/or OS X version to be installed/used. Each version of OS X has a limited set of hardware supported, hence the ID is used by OS X installed to know if the target machine would be compatible. As for the hardware, a combination of chipset/CPU/GPU/form factor (notebook, desktop etc.). Find the most similar (by components used) Apple computer and use that ID. Other thing to note that some applications and/or drivers (Nvidia drivers and Cuda) will only install to certain Mac models.
