tohamy
I used myhack to install mavericks. So my hackintosh was running perfectly on dp 1, 2, & 3. When I updated to dp 4 I can no longer boot into it. Attached is the picture of the screen that it is stuck on. I tried -x -v -f in different combinations. Nothing works. Tried graphics enabler yes & no but that doesn't seem to be the problem either. When I boot with -v the last thing I see is the iobluetoothhcicontroller start completed Then the screen blackens & a very quick line appears & disappears I can't get to read it then clears again and stays with a small white block on the top left corner. Ps. I used to have ml perfectly before mavericks. So what should I do? joe75
sounds like a graphics issue, what are your specs and do you use anything besides GE for graphics? tohamy
Intel core 2 duo 4gb ram Zotac GeForce 9500 gt 1gb And I didn't need to use anything for graphics after installing the boot loader from myhack. And the only one I tried with after being stuck is the GE. Should I try something else? tohamy
Tried these also -x "Graphics Mode"="1280x1024x32@85" platform=ACPI or platform=X86PC When I boot with -v only this is the last line I see before the screen becomes black with the white small square in the upper left corner: **** [iOBluetoothHCIController][searchForTransportEventTimeOutHandler] -- Missing Bluetooth Controller Transport! Also tried this -v -f npci=0x2000 & 3000 Arch=i386 -v Arch=x86_64 -v Pcirootuid=1 -v Cpus=1 -v -f npci=0x3000 PCIRootUID=1 Still nothing changes Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/291790-help-mavericks-stuck-on-spinning-wheel-after-updating-to-dp-4/#findComment-1944778 Share on other sites
tohamy
Ok so I restarted everything & now I am back to dp1. Currently updating to dp2. Is there anyway I can skip dp4 and go directly to dp7 or at least dp5?
