ttyseven
Have you tried to install with an unpatched cd?! Get a patched CD from somewhere or do it yourself, than be sure during installation to CUSTOMIZE your install with needed patches AMD etc. This is not Windows, they won't be selected automaticly. ttyseven
Try to open your eyes and look a bit around THIS forum ... look at the sticky threads and stuff, I am sure you figure it out. There are serveral prepatched releases available over the Net... JaS and many other are a way to look for.

Rammjet
I have a AMD 1900+ I'm pretty sure OSX cannot run on this processor. In Windows, download and run CPU-Z. Look for the SSE features. If you find SSE2 or SSE3, then you can run OSX. If you find ONLY SSE, then you cannot run OSX.
