Derek12
I can't get them to work as intended. My mouse is a generic one and no official utility or driver available. I've installed USB Overdrive as many people recommended but I don't know how to assign the back and forward actions to these buttons (?). any help will be appreciated. slemblod
The software I'm using allows me to assign buttons to keyboard shortcuts. I don't know about yours though. In most OS X applications the shortcut for back is ⌘[ and for forward it is ⌘] which on my International keyboard corresponds to ⌘⌥8 and ⌘⌥9 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/291257-mouse-back-and-forward-buttons/#findComment-1939509 Share on other sites
Derek12
Thanks and what software are you using? I don't how to make the mapping work in USB Overdrive. Besides this thing is shareware and shows a message in every boot. EDIT: The only thing I made it work is autoscrolling. Made it work after some reboot . Now I will figure how to reduce the wheel scroll speed as it's still too fast at the slowest scroll speed setting. 1 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/291257-mouse-back-and-forward-buttons/#findComment-1939690 Share on other sites
