yushi90 Posted August 3, 2013 Share Posted August 3, 2013 Hello everyone, I'm desperately finding a solution for my Graphics Card. Resolution is right as well as QE/CI. The only problem is the Framebuffer: Currently working is Orangutan, which supports only the ports for internal screen and HDMI, not my VGA. It recognizes my graphics card model right, but doesn't work perfect. Biggest issue: When waking from sleep the internal screen is totally messed, flickering and negative colors. I already used the custom EDID file, but that doesn't change anything recognizable. I am not able to edit the framebuffer myself, could someone help me? yushi90 Posted August 9, 2013 Author Share Posted August 9, 2013 I'm on 10.8.4. Added it to my signature. With the AMD Kext of 10.9 my card seemed to have being recognized better. iStat could show the exact use of memory in 10.9, but not in 10.8. So, the Framebuffer is the only problem. Using a different Framebuffer results in using a different Override file for display-EDID, but internal Display is then flickering really hard. Maybe this is where something must be changed.
