Rammjet Posted October 1, 2006 Share Posted October 1, 2006 1) It is a PPC update. 2) Updating using an unpatched Apple updater will fry your installation 3) You cannot update a 10.4.1 installation. You must install a new, patched OSX of at least 10.4.3 or higher. Apple made substantial changes to OSX starting with 10.4.3 and they are not compatible with 10.4.1.
