Do a retail installation - it's only the price tag of two Big Mac combos, $19 - and help keep the good reputation of the hackintosh community, and the health of your computer: everyone knows "He Who Uses Distros Will Soon Be In Distress". So that's it: buy the system, read a lot of guides and enjoy the best OS in the land.
