MrDee
After reading through the many iTunes 7.0 issues, I have realized the problem is specific to SSE 2 not being supported. I have a MB that supports both SSE 2 and 3. Can I install iTunes 7.01 if I wish or does the instruction set (sse 2) being a part of the MB affect the installation of the software or as long as I have a MB that supports SSE 3 I can go ahead and install it? Thank you Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/28998-a-question-before-installing-itunes-701/ Share on other sites
phee
Works fine here. Running on a Core Duo 6300 with 10.4.7 JaS Update, etc, etc... I have been led to believe that the only problems with the iTunes updates lies in if you just have a sse2 only capable processor. But then again YMMV. phee Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/28998-a-question-before-installing-itunes-701/#findComment-199079 Share on other sites
