Hey guys.

I almost have a winner. I installed OSx86 JaS 10.4.7 to my laptop and all my hardware detected PERFECTLY. I finished the install with no hitches. Unfortunately, when I got into the actual OS, my stupid display becomes black with white specks and some other artifacts. I hear the welcome to OS X video perfectly fine and I am in the system, but my ATI Radeon 9600/9700 isn't displaying the video correctly. Oddly enough... I could see the GUI on the installer DVD PERFECTLY FINE! Could this be an issue with the VESA driver? I'm not sure what boot: prompt switches I should put down for a safe-mode display setting. Thank you.

I got the same gfx too.

When i installed OS X for the first time i installede the pack on the install dvd for "Radeon Mobility Cards" then my display was all {censored}ed up too. Then i tried again without the pack and then i got into OS X fine.

Try without :)

never heard about qe/ci... but i installed callisto 008 and it works, i'm just having a problem with the creator's setting of 1680x1050, cause my display only has 1400x1050. now my screen is not displayed completely and cut on the right. it looks way better now than before, but i have no other resolutions to choose
