trevor51590
Hey guys, I am new here. I just installed JaS 10.4.7 via the great tutorail in the tutorials section. I got it installed onto my second hard drive, but upon restart the computer boots to XP on my main drive instead of into Mac. Ok, so I add the line of code to my boot.ini file and throw the CHAIN0 file in my c drive. So I reboot my computer and select OS X but I get the debug panic error. I then try to open up OS X via VMware and wallah, it works. So I finished up my installation and got to the desktop and then shut down the virtual machine. I tried again to acess it via the boot manager but I still get the panic. I have a Pentium 4 3.4g with HT which supports SSE3 which is what I installed. Does anyone know what I could do to help remedy the problem? I dont wanna have to live off of the VM. Dr. Hurt
Try disabling hyper threading in your BIOS settings. HT sometimes causes problems with OS X.
