GeeksHaveFeelings Posted August 17, 2006 Share Posted August 17, 2006 X-Chat is an IRC client that works on just about every platform. It's also extremely aggravating to build. Mostly on windows. You need all of these *nix libs, built for windows, and half the time it comes out wrong. After silverex's very slow 2.6.4 build, and no 2.6.6 build in sight, I decided to build it myself. I've done it before on Ubuntu Breezy (though ubuntu's repos had packages that were too old, so I had to get a lot off of debian's unstable package website...). Just one look at the hacking page will make you want to stop looking at it....I guess there was no point to this post... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
