ghost1001
Hi, I just finished installing Mountain Lion following this guide (translated to english): http://www.insanelym...-automatizzata/ and have patched kexts and dsdt following: http://www.insanelym...page__hl__ p6td in hopes to get the audio to work. I've also updated to 10.8.3 from the app store. However, the system will lock up about 1-2 mins after startup. Nothing moves and no error message anywhere. Only thing that I can do is to pull the power on the system for it to shutdown. On the other hand, it boots fine in safe mode. Any ideas?

ghost1001
Thanks for the advice. I tried it, but the problem still persists. I did notice some errors near the end of the script. Something to do with rm: permission denied.
iFIRE
no problem for it, you can look in Console app for errors report, or try rollback the kext AppleACPIPlatform.kext to 10.8.0 , or other option try download app Onix and make a full Maintenance
ghost1001
Ok. I managed to figure out what the problem is, but have no idea how to fix it. I can boot just fine by setting the boot flag to cpus=4 but obviously that is undesireable. This fix works for both versions of the Apple ACPIPlatform.kext. Would this be a DSDT problem then?
