jlfilms Posted May 22, 2013 Share Posted May 22, 2013 I have the GTX 650 Ti 1Gb i was wondering how do i tell the version i currently have and is it safe to just update to most recent or is there somthing special i have to do? Gen_ Posted May 22, 2013 Share Posted May 22, 2013 My general policy and probably that of my peers here is 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it'. Technically though, it shouldn't mess up anything. Open it up with Pacifist and check what kexts it installs, then backup any particular kexts it will overwrite first. If something bad happens, boot up in safe mode, replace the kexts with the old ones and delete any extra new kexts.
