Chameleon doesn't show FAT32 volumes

Hi,

I would like to know if showing/booting FAT32 volumes is still supported in latest Chameleon releases, because I can't make it work. I tried any possible combination of FAT32 volume type (0x0B / 0x0C), size and even MBR / GUID format disks, and the FAT32 volume/s never show up in the boot selector screen.

Looking at Chameleon's theme files and a quick look at the source code (with the minimum programming knowledge I have) seems that it should be supported. Or what would be the point of having FAT32 png icons?

Is this a bug or a deprecated feature?

Any help welcome! Thank you very much!

Cheers!

Hi, there's no partition hiding/renaming/etc. keys in org.chameleon.plist. I'm trying Chameleon's latest release, and also some others older releases from 2011. This simple isn't working. Looks like this is an old-time bug.

There're other reports, like this one, http://forge.voodoop...eon/issues/212/, or this one http://www.insanelym...2-boot-problem/, but seems that nobody cares.

The code for FAT16/32 support is there inside Chameleon, but it looks like it isn't working.

I would like Chameleon to show FAT volumes and be able to boot from them, like it used to do in the first versions. If I would like to hide any volume/partition, I would prefer to use the "Hide Partition" key in org.chameleon.plist instead.

Any help from any developer?

Thank you very much!
