How i know wat version

I downloaded an image from torrentz.com but i dunno wat version it is

Is there a way to view(without using vmware)

 

If im right it was:

Somebody downloaded that one to that can tell me wat version it is

Well i want to know if i saw the tutorials are for diffrent version

if its an ISO, open it in winRAR, but I dont think it can read the file. even if you could see the files, I dont think theres a way to find out the version

Well thx for the reactions, but ill'd like to start it so i can see wat version but i dont know how VMWare works iv seen the tuts but i stillot really now

 

 

Btw. It is in portanted which version tutorial you take right:

If i like got 10.4.1 and i take a tut for 10.4.7

 

Or can somebody help my finding a step by step vmware/x86 tiger tutorial

 

I always loved mac but powerpc cost way too much i could pay it

So when i heard mac is possible on intel machines i was F******n happy

btw. the image file is called: tiger-x86-flat.img

you have os x 10.4.1. follow the dd method installation guide in the wiki. i think it's called vinc0rs dd guide or something.

Yea its prob 10.4.1 but why do i get a error using dd it says DD function doesnt exists

cause you have to download DD. I think it's part of the cygwin library, but I could be wrong

Thx, now waiting on a 10GB HArddisk my boss got somewhere(Will take a week probably xP)

 

But if im right it could only bin done on other harddisk not using a parttition on current harddisk
