abakobo
hi so i'm new here and try to know if there are only few mboards(lga775) models that are advised to hackintosh' (for newbie, without too much dsdt and so)? or is it the same for any compatible card.. i tried to see builds but i mostly get i3-i7 series builds. WhatTheTech
abakobo - the Gigabyte boards are pretty darn compatible, even on the LGA775 architecture. I also built several hackintoshes with the Intel DG33TL board using Q8400 and Q9550 processors and everything worked apart from on-board audio. I believe the Gigabyte G41M-Combo works nicely, and as an added bonus uses DDR3 RAM, greatly reducing your costs. Hope this helps!
