JuzzMann Posted September 27, 2006 Share Posted September 27, 2006 hello everyone, i have successfully installed 0sx 10.4.5 on my computer, and i have a ton of stuff on their that i really need. i also have a windows partition, for my little brother to use, since we share computers. but now my little brother got a virus on windows, and he reinstalled. Now he set windows to active and now OSX is not. Can someone please tell me exactly how to get my OSX partition active again, will this affect any of my stuff that i have in my OSX partition, because i cant lose it.(sorry i'm a noob) Thanks in Advance, JuzzMann Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
bliss Posted September 27, 2006 Share Posted September 27, 2006 one way: get a win 98 or win me boot disk and run fdisk and set the osx partition active. if you dont have a floppy drive search the web for that bootdisk and burn it with nero as a boot cd.
