Melab
Can anyone show me how to install Chameleon to a hard drive using Linux and NOT Mac OS X?
Rampage Dev
http://rampagedev.wordpress.com/os-x-10-8-mountain-lion/install-chameleon-bootloader/ Just make sure you point it to the correct drive.
Melab
http://rampagedev.wo...eon-bootloader/ Just make sure you point it to the correct drive. There was absolutely no mention of Linux in there. I'm looking to use Linux's facilities.

It shows you when on the HDD and what sectors the files need to be.
Melab
It's been a while since I've replied to this, but the guide has moved. And the guide that the old page now points to uses Mac OS X utilities which are NOT on Linux. So I can't, say, install any components using Installer. MacUser2525
It's been a while since I've replied to this, but the guide has moved. So I can't, say, install any components using Installer. fdisk and dd are standard *nix utilities that should be on any linux or have been on any of the many I have used. Now you would need to figure out the fdisk440 to linux fdisk command to use but it will do the same thing on both OSs same with dd it is just a straight forward matter there with only the disk partition needing to be changed.
