mathew
I'm struggling right now, I've spent hours installing intel based kexts for my system to get a proper resolution, HDMI out is working but I'm stuck in 1024x768 and the system is not loading a kext for the graphics I'm getting annoyed now, does anybody know of any generic kexts or something that will allow me to force a resolution ? I have tried altering the boot .plist (or w/e) and rebuilding caches etc etc with no avail Everything works fine but that Processor & Chipset » Processor Manufacturer: Intel » Processor Type: Celeron » Processor Model: T3500 » Processor Speed: 2.10 GHz » Processor Core: Dual-core (2 Core) » Bus Speed: 800 MHz » Chipset Manufacturer: Intel » Chipset Model: GL40 Express Memory » Standard Memory: 4 GB » Memory Technology: DDR3 SDRAM » Memory Standard: DDR3-1066/PC3-8500 » Memory Card Reader: Yes Storage » Hard Drive Capacity: 250 GB » Hard Drive Interface: Serial ATA » Hard Drive RPM: 5400 » Optical Drive Type: DVD-Writer » Optical Media Supported: DVD-RAM/±R/±RW Display & Graphics » Screen Size: 39.6 cm (15.6") » Display Screen Type: Active Matrix TFT Colour LCD » Backlight Technology: LED » Graphics Controller Manufacturer: Intel » Graphics Memory Technology: DDR3 SDRAM » Graphics Memory Accessibility: Shared
jahanzaib
type at boot: Graphics Enabler=No "Graphics Mode"="1920x1080x32" use graphics mode with quotes and 1920x1080 is resolution and x32 is colour bits.
