Orsi3D
Hey there. I already tried to install several OS X distro and version on my machine but most of the time I get stuck in ´AppleUSBOHCI' message even if all HDs are set to AHCI mode. So my questions are: 1- Which distros/versions are compatible with my system? 2- Which boot flags to use? Here´s my PC config: Motherboard: Asus Crosshair Formula V Chipset: AMD 990FX Processor: AMD Phenom II Black 1090t RAM: 4x4Gb Corsair Vengeance 1333 VGA: nVidia GT460GT Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/286484-os-x-lion-in-a-asus-formula-v-990fx-amd-1090t/ Share on other sites
WaldMeister
Hi, I deleted the other topic, no need for double posting. We're all eager to get our systems working, but it takes time. Which OS X distros and versions did you try already? Orsi3D
Sorry. I posted it again because since I got no answer here I thought it could be impossible or something. I tried Snow Leopard 10.6.3 Retail, 10.6 Retail 10A432, 10.6.1 10.6.2-SSE2-SSE3-Intel-AMD, 10.6.6i by Hazard, 10.6 iATKOS s3 V2, Nirash, OSX 10.7.3 V2, OSX 10.6 SnowLeo and Niresh 10.8. To tell you the truth I rarely use the same flags, which usually are "Kernel Cache"=\amd, arch=i386, busratio=16 -x -v Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/286484-os-x-lion-in-a-asus-formula-v-990fx-amd-1090t/#findComment-1890567 Share on other sites
