merak
hi guys, as i wrote in a previous post i jus received a mac mini g4 1,42 ghz well...everything seems to run pretty well....beside the wireless connection... this is my first experience with the integrated airport device from apple 1) i usually connect to the net through a wireless router u.s.robotics "usr9110" it's an adsl 2+ with encryption disabled. and seted to auto about the channels to use 2) with my hackintosh and the wireless utility i can surf the ne with the maximum speed offered by my isp it's 4mega (500 kB/s), same thing with ubuntu and windows 3) my pci wireless card in the hackintosh is a linksys as in he signature and i have usually 60% signal strenght 4) with the mac mini everythin is super slow, and sometime it doesn't even finds out the network to connec to. the maximum speed in dl from servers is stucked to 22-23 kB/s..and it's super slow in opening net pages too. 5) my net connection is setted to dhcp, cuz if i chang to static ip...i can't connect to the net..nothing to do it doesn't wanna connect. now i'm wondering...is there somethin wrong whit the setting or the signal is just to weak for the integrated wireless airport? here is a pic taken about the weak signal thank u very muchhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!
