cjsec9
Hi. I finally managed to get the disc burned after many days of frustration, and have now run into yet another obstacle. I've burned the disc, and it brings me the boot screen, but it hangs immediately after I hit 'enter'. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. My processor is: AMD Turion 64 ML-34 (1.8GHz) Thanks. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/28303-installation-hang/ Share on other sites

cjsec9
{censored}. Is there any reason for this that you know of? The processor supports SSE2 and SSE3, and I know very little else about requirements. My main computer runs an AMD 64 3200+. Would it be able to support OS X? rchapoteau
Try hitting F8 and then -v to see where it might be hanging at. By the way I'm not sure if 10.4.7 works on AMD yet. You may need 10.4.6 if you don't have it. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/28303-installation-hang/#findComment-194547 Share on other sites
cjsec9
I tried the -v option, but as soon as I hit enter, it hangs. I've tried at least six different releases of 10.4.6 and 10.4.7, but was unable to get anything but the Developer DVD to burn onto a disc. PolishOX
@CJSec9 If you have original .dmg images, I can hook you up with the software to burn those images without converting them... Original is always better and with the software I can hook you up with, it will burn as if you were using a MAC to put the image on a bootable DVD. Get at me via PM.
