Well... I have everything up and running.

No more glitches.

Everything I want to work (Except the Unity plugin when running in the Dashboard and the Radeon), works.

My results using Xbench:

Note the drive speeds. I think my system is pretty competitive compared to the standard DUAL G5 configuration it uses for baseline.

What benches is everyone else getting, for a comparison?

I'm running an Athlon 64 2800+ on a Soltek K8AN2E-GR with 1gig (dunno why it reports 2) of Dual Value Series DDR400, a Realtek 8139 card, and a 200gig maxtor HD.

I must say, I didn't expect performance to be THIS great.

Now if only I had my onboard nForce3-powered SATA... the numbers would literally rip off the page, lol.

Okay. Had a few bumps in the road but I've overcome them now.

The nForce3 250 modified kext that I downloaded would work sporadically... then it failed altogether.

I stopped being lazy and patched the kext myself and it works flawlessly, no more flags, no more sporadic boots, nothing.

Sound is still good. I have to remember to disable the onboard if I switch back to Windows or the system hangs (have an Audigy 2 ZS Platinum in the system that windows uses).

Sound editing applications (IE Reason) lock up, give errors about CPU usage, etc.

Haven't tried photoshop yet but I can confirm that basic, non-accelerated shockwave games work, such as Text Twist. The dashboard works... Turned on the magnification effect of the dock... No slowdown there.

iTunes STILL bugs out on me though occasionally... Running the .5c patch and its improved but still crashes.

could you post your computer's specs? plz

I got that u have 2 gigs of ram, and I know what HDD you have, but without knowing your full setup, this info is kinda useless...

Have you gotten the full ilife suite to work. If so, how is garageband compared to reason?

edit, ahh, I see it now.
