vahids2 Posted August 27, 2012 Share Posted August 27, 2012 Hi I have Acer Aspire 5750G core i3 Nvdia 610M (but vga not worked in LP) I installed 10.6.6i Hazard and now wants update to 10.7 I have orginal DVD 10.7 but when put it in DVD and run install show me u have to have GUID partition table But I need my data on HDD any way to pass this issue and install 10.7 ? I just wants install 10.7 so if u know any other way let me know. TheRacerMaster Posted September 11, 2012 Share Posted September 11, 2012 First of all, repair permissions on your Snow Leopard drive using Disk Utility. Then rebuild kext caches, and back up your system using Carbon Copy Cloner or SuperDuper! to another partition or hard drive. Once you do that, install Lion. However, it looks like your 610M will only work on Mountain Lion, so you may want to get that instead of Lion. Use myHack. It will create a USB for you and patch it for MBR partitions.
