pixpicker
I've been out of this for awhile so I hope you'll bear with me. I have 10.6.3 installed on an Asus P5W DH Deluxe with Intel processor and Nvidia 7300 GT video card. Everything works well except there is a lag time of several minutes after boot before I can select or launch anything. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Gringo Vermelho
Run console.app and check system.log and kernel.log for clues. Look at the timestamps of the logged events to see what OS X is doing at that particular time.

pixpicker
Below is the system log. For some reason, I couldn't access the kernel log. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
