Rammjet Posted September 21, 2006 Share Posted September 21, 2006 For greater success, format the entire drive as FAT32 using some Windows or Linux disk/partition software. Then during the OSX install, format the only partition in Disk Utility as HFS+ (MacOS Extended Journaled). In Disk Utility, the partition appears below the hard drive - select the partition to format.
