Well, no more. NETKAS ported IOPCIFamily-115 kext to work with new AppleACPIPlatform. So, you can use it and no need to replace AppleACPIPlatform with old one, a bit better then having to replace both. monto Posted August 24, 2012 Share Posted August 24, 2012 It looks like the video card is not natively supported if you can only boot into safe mode. You need to inject the string of your NVidia video card into NVDANV50Hal.kext. That should fix your issue as I've encountered the same symptoms as yours and it fixed for me.
