I am Yiannis and i am new to this hobby and really my apologizes if i this post is the same post that all the new people post for first time. I have the below laptop: Toshiba L655 - 1JK PART NUMBER: PSK1JE-0HP00UF3 I run the systeminfo tool to find out the compatibility of my system. The only things that didn't find to have kexts where these: Intel® 5 Series/3400 Series Chipset Family Thermal Subsystem - 3B32 Broadcom 802.11n Network Adapter Can you please tell me if should i try the transformation and with what distro? Has any of you done it to the same laptop and is it possible to provide me a tutorial??? Foxic Posted August 8, 2012 Share Posted August 8, 2012 Use a retail install method, not a distro. Start with the OS X 86 Mod CD / USB and a Snow Leopard 10.6.3 retail disk.
