I'm unable to boot and i get smth like this: Exited with Signal 8 and CPU Halted. So I want you to recommend me kexts and boot loader for my Asus P5B Deluxe. I'll be glad for any help. Gringo Vermelho
Examine the configuration of the boot loader you used while installing. Try to replicate it. drfdr
I use rBoot. How Can replicate it? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/280719-best-bootloader-and-kexts-for-asus-p5b-deluxe/#findComment-1834735 Share on other sites
Gringo Vermelho
I'm not familiar with rboot. Is it a CD image that you downloaded? If it's a boot CD, check which settings are used in the Chameleon configuration files in /Extra and open the RAM disk image (preboot.dmg or initrd.dmg) and check which kernel extensions are on it. drfdr
Yes it is a CD Image, but inside is only .txt file. Another question : How to uninstall Clover boot loader? Gringo Vermelho
You don't uninstall a boot loader, you replace it with another boot loader. rboot would not allow you to boot OS X on a PC if it only had a text file on it. Obviously, you are missing something. Gringo Vermelho
Of course there's not only text..enable view of hidden files. Anyway I can't help you with that, it's against the forum rules. http://www.insanelym...howtopic=279450 Go to the TonyMacx86 forums for support, they'll be happy to have you.
