Pentium D 915

Hi I change my athlon 64 3500 venice for a pentium D 915 for compatibility issues.

 

My hardware:

 

Pentium D 915 2800mhz Presler core

MSI 945GM2F motherboard

Ati X1800GTO

Western Digital 250GB SATA

1 GB RAM 667

 

I tried Jas 10.4.6 Install DVD with intel SSE3 in the first boot the darwin boot loader says that "some error occur while starting up the computer waiting 5 seconds" the machine never load the login window, the error "could not find root user" appers with some other messages, and it repeats every time until I reboot or shutdown the cumputer I tried the Myzar 10.4.5 Install DVD but after the first reboot the same message "some error occur while starting up the computer waiting 5 seconds" but I finally get the welcome wizard, and the machine works fine, but in the system profiler in the hardware tab says tha some error occur.

 

If I tried to make my own kernel with SSE3 I got the "root user" error.

 

Please help

 

I think my Athlon was a better option.
